The hotels of Oran will soon accommodate nearly 1424 participants in the Mediterranean Games : Vent-Dome Hotel, Le Méridien, Rodina, Eshra, AZ Hotel, Oran Bay, and Royal Hotel rated 5 stars, Phoenix, Liberté Express, Plaza Arzew, and Plaza Oran rated 4 stars and finally Ibis and Complexe Les Andalouses rated 3 stars. They will provide them with accommodation for an average of one week and will put at their disposal a number of rooms equal to half the number of participants for each discipline.
The athletics competition
With the highest number of participants (120 candidates), they will be competing in le complexe olympique. The Vent-Dôme Hotel will offer them accommodation starting June 28th.
The competitions : table tennis and fencing
Both competitions will be held at Oran Convention Center (le CCO) with 35 participants in table tennis and 21 participants in fencing. The participants of both disciplines will be hosted by the hotel Le Méridien from June 23 for table tennis and from June 29 for fencing.
The cycling competition
Le Méridien Hotel will also host the 30 participants of the cycling competition from June 26. It will be held at le CCO and 5ème périphérique cec. It will be held at le CCO et 5ème périphérique cec.
The competitions: boxing, wrestling and weightlifting
They will be held at la Salle EMEC palais des expositions with a number of 50 participants for the wrestling discipline and 30 for the boxing and weightlifting discipline. The boxing participants will be accommodated at the Hotel Rodina from June 23, as well as the weightlifting participants who will be accommodated there from June 28. The wrestling participants will be accommodated at Eshra from June 24. .
The competitions: handball, volleyball and equestrian sports
The handball, volleyball and equestrian sports competitions will take place respectively in arzew -ain turck- bir djir, mdina jdida -bir el djir – hammou boutlilis and Senia with a respective number of participants of 70, 50, and 40. They will be accommodated at AZ Hotel Oran from June 23 for the participants of handball and volleyball for an average duration of two weeks and from June 28 for the participants of equestrian sports.
Family of participants and doctors
The participants’ relatives are 193 people and 41 doctors are available to the competitors in case of danger. They will be accommodated at the Oran Bay Hotel from June 22 for a period of two weeks and a total of 293 rooms are provided.
Delegation of officials
The 78 members of the delegation of officials will be accommodated at Royal Hotelalso from June 22 for a period of two weeks, each member will be entitled to a room.
The competitions: badminton, swimming and water polo
They will take place respectively in tlilat, Complexe Olympique and piscine mdina jdida usto univ complexe olympique with a respective number of participants of 30, 45, and 35. They will be accommodated at Phoenix Hotel from June 23 for the participants of badminton and swimming and from June 27 for the participants of water polo.
The competitions: karate, judo, and taekwondo
They will be held at le CCO with a number of participants of 40 for each discipline. They will be accommodated at the Liberté Express Hotel from June 23 for the Karate participants, from June 26 for the Judo participants and from June 30 for the Taekwondo participants.
The gymnastics Competition
The Liberté Express Hotel will also host the participants of the gymnastics competition which will take place at le Complexe Olympique with the second largest number of participants (90) and this from June 25.
The soccer competition
The soccer competition will take place at the stadiums : Complexe Olympique – Ahmed Zabana- Sig-Mers El HadjadjStadiums : Complexe Olympique – Ahmed Zabana- Sig-Mers El Hadjadj with a number of participants of 70. They will be hosted at Plaza Arzew from June 22 for a period of two weeks.
The competitions: shooting and basketball
The shooting competition will take place in Hassi Ben Okba with a number of participants that is almost twice as many as those of basketball that will compete in Sidi Mhamed. They will both be hosted at the Plaza Hotel for a period of 10 days from June 24 for the participants of shooting and for a period of one week from June 27 for those of basketball.
Archery Competition
Archery Competition will be held at le Complexe Olympique with 30 participants who will be hosted at the Ibis Hotel from June 23.
The competitions: athlete sailing and sailing
Both will take place in Les Andalouses with a number of participants of sailing equal to a little more than twice that of the sailing athlete. They will be hosted at the Complexe Les Andalouses for a period of 10 days from June 24.
